Major Drug Syndicate Smashed in Austria: "major drug syndicate was disclosed and 38 criminals involved have been sentenced by the law in Austria, police announced on Tuesday.
The Police Department of Upper Austria, a state of Austria, held a press conference on Tuesday and announced that the head of this group is a 42-year-old female Dominican.
The completed investigation confirmed that the group has smuggled and sold a total of 270 kilograms of cocaine to Austrians, with a market value of 6,000 million Euros.
According to the police, the investigation against this drug cartel began in 2007, when the police discovered this female head. She married an Austrian, has the Austrian nationality and lived in the Upper Austria.
After a joint surveillance and investigation by police station in Upper Austria, the Austrian Federal Criminal Police Office, and a number of other police stations from Austria and other countries, the police finally confirmed that this woman is the 'boss' in Austria of a huge drug smuggling group.
Her residence was located in Linz, the capital city of Upper Austria and her main task was to 'manage' the drug dealers of this group in Austria.
According to the investigation, drugs were smuggled by trucks from the Netherlands to Linz, and the sold to Vienna, the capital of Austria, Innsbruck, the western city of Austria, Graz, the eastern city of Austria, as well as Milan, Italy, Zurich, Switzerland, etc..
The police also confirmed that the Austrian segment of this huge drug cartel has totally 77 suspects, who are mainly from the Dominican Republic, Austria, the Netherlands, Chile, Venezuela, Italy, Portugal, and so on."

Mohammed Yousaf, of Normandy Road, Perry Barr, Ansar Iqbal, of Selston Road, Aston were sentenced to eight years each while Shaied Iqbal, of Drummond Road, Aston, was imprisoned for six and a half years.It is reported that detectives from Staffordshire Police’s Major Crime Unit worked with colleagues from the West Midlands, Greater Manchester and Bedfordshire forces for 10 months to break the ring. Over pounds weight of drugs were seized, as part of Staffordshire’s Operation Nemesis, including heroin with a street value of £4 million, 1.5 kilos of amphetamine and an amount of cocaine.

Officers arrested two brothers they claim are major role players in the West Rand bouncer and drugs industry yesterday.Byleveld’s team yesterday arrested brothers Jacques and Deon Willemse on charges of armed robbery near Sophiatown. It's understood the duo had stolen a car from a 27-year-old woman and assaulted both her and her 52-year-old mother. Byleveld has previously arrested another brother of the two men, Gillie Willemse, on drugs related charges. The crack detective says he believes the three bouncers are role-players in the West Rand drugs industry and are connected to a major organised crime boss arrested earlier this week. Theuns Grobelaar, a founder of the notorious Elite bouncer group, will appear in court today on several charges.
