A BULGARIAN national has been sentenced to seven years in prison for smuggling £200,000 worth of heroin into the UK.
A BULGARIAN national has been sentenced to seven years in prison for smuggling £200,000 worth of heroin into the UK.: "Nedko Nedev was stopped and searched by border officials in Dover, who found four kilos of heroin in his car.
Having been caught, Nedev, from Storrington Road, Addiscombe, pleaded guilty at Canterbury Crown Court, and was jailed on December 15.
When officers stopped and questioned him on March 27 this year, Nedev said he had borrowed the car he was driving from a friend and had travelled to Brussels to collect some tools."
