A preliminary inquiry resumed Monday in Dartmouth provincial court for Tyrone Cornell David, 41, of Lakeside and Kathleen Mary Kierans, 23, of Bedford, who is alleged to have given the deputy a package of drugs.
Defence lawyer Pat Atherton told the court that David was consenting to be committed to stand trial in Nova Scotia Supreme Court.
Judge Ted Tax ordered David to appear in Supreme Court in Halifax on Jan. 13 to have dates set for his trial by judge and jury."
