A search was carried out by officers at Heathrow Airport, where they seized cocaine worth £40,000. The UK Border Agency said the 39-year-old German national, born in Liberia, was suspected of swallowing packages of cocaine.
Farh appeared before magistrates in Uxbridge, where he was remanded in custody.
He made a handful of appearances for the Liberian national football team, including four qualifying matches for the 1990 World Cup."
