Mohsen Youssefinejad was convicted by a jury in February of two drug-related felonies for receiving 14 pounds of the drug via mail to his Santa Ana business.The Lake Forest man has been sentenced to four years in prison for smuggling $3 million worth of opium that was concealed in hollow wooden picture frames. Customs officials found the drug stuffed into decorative frames in New York, but monitored its delivery to Youssefinejad. When he picked up the crate on June 9, he was arrested.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection arrested two women who attempted to smuggle more than 12 pounds of cocaine concealed in two false sided bags. Jessica Guinyard, age 20, and De Anne Browne, age 21, both U.S. citizens, were arrested at Newark Airport in connection with the smuggling attempt.On Wednesday afternoon, CBP officers selected Guinyard for a routine baggage inspection when she arrived on a flight from San Jose, Costa Rica. Guinyard presented one Pullman style bag for inspection. During her interview, Guinyard indicated that she was traveling with Browne. Upon examination of her bag, CBP officers noticed that the inside walls of the bag felt unusually thick and heavy. A probe of the inside walls revealed a white powdery substance which field tested positive for cocaine. Investigators believe Jaleeza Lobdell, 14-year-old died of a drug overdose

Jaleeza Lobdell had a history of drug abuse. An autopsy revealed cocaine. Investigators believe the 14-year-old died of a drug overdose. Lobdell's mother told police she'd gone out with her cousin and two men. The cousin was dropped off in Federal Way, but Jaleeza never showed up. Orchard workers found her charred remains a few months later. Detectives just identified the body using DNA from her mother, and now want to know who drove the teen's body so far away from where she was from to try to hide it.
